“ETHICAL”

Standard

There was once a store, who was an enabler of product missuse for the fesr of suing.
Apparently, the store I work in has a customer who frequents the canned air section and has for a long while now..
Yesterday, during my 3 to 9:30 shift, she came in 5 times (Also, a number of times before my shift started) to purchase single cans of canned air. Each time she came in, she was shakier and her ability to speak worsened. Around the 3rd time she came in, I hailed over the radio to the store manager and asked, “Are you going to continue allowing her to purchase canned air?” Her response was troubling; “Legally, we are unable to deny her purchase of this product.”
To really start off this post, there is NOT a law anywhere, forbadding a retailer to deny purchase of a product FOR ANY REASON.
PEOPLE NEED TO CARE FOR OTHERS. YES, EVEN IF YOU DON’T KNOW THEM AT ALL.
I will not allow this to continue. This is an outrageous situatuon and an humongous ethical issue for me.
